I bent a stanchion on my "88 E34. Does anyone know the maker, size and where I might find a matching replacement?

Probably old news to you, but the solution for a bent stanchion that we discussed in the above thread might be a reasonable answer...
There is bound to be a good SS fab shop somewhere near you, and then you will have your refurbed stanchion back with no worries about it matching the others.

Added lead: Rail Makers has done stanchions for a lot of boats. http://www.railmakers.com/
You might want to check with them.

Thanks Tom, I'll check them out. I might just try to beat it into submission myself if it turns into a thing

Sorry, I just saw this now. I believe I went to Pacific Seacraft about 4 years ago, and they had the originals.
