Hi Sven And Nancy,
looks like there might be a weather window opening up for a trip up the coast. The wind at Point Sur is light right now for the first time in over a week. Sailflow http://www.sailflow.com/windandwhere.iws?regionID=128&regionProductID=30&timeoffset=0
is showing some more westerly and southwest winds tomorrow. That should knock down the big winds at Point Sur.
The north-south pressure gradient up here is flat so the typical northwest winds down the coast might not materialize.
