Storing beer and sodas in an E25+.

To those of you sailing an E25+, I'd like to share a storage tip with you that will save gobs of space. Twenty years ago when we still owned her, I added a shelf to the storage space beneath the galley sink of our 1979 E25+ hull #515. The space above was tall enough to allow me to stack two cans vertically. I routed the sink drain hose right down the center of the shelf and in so doing, it allowed me the space to snugly load four six packs of sodas around that hose without interference. Fiddles fore and aft kept the cans in place as did the bulkheads on either side. I'd then stack four more six packs on top of the existing ones giving me a total of 48 cans of soda, more than enough for a five day stay or more aboard for my child bride Marilyn and me.
