I was delivering a J120 back from Orcas to Seattle two weeks ago in some really crappy weather. Puking my hangover away as I headed south out of Cattle Pass, I was thinking, "this is stupid," and "Friday Harbor is nice." There was no shape to the seas between Cattle Pass and Smith Island; just 6-8ft lumps. The wind was blowing 18-24kts true, with the occassional 30kt gust. Anyway, long story short, weather became sun and 5kts true in Admiralty Inlet, which is when I snapped these pictures.
