How many Vikings do we have in the Tampa/StPete area? And how many are willing to mill around with other Vikings?
(We need hats w/ Horns... "We're Vikings... you know, Horney Sailors!")
In any case, my boat is situated down by Boca Ciega Bay so I'd *like* to find some place nearby... but this is something we all need to be in the loop on in order to not inconvenience anyone.
Perhaps it's a matter of keeping an eye on the weather? When it's too nasty to have a pleasant sail, we could build up a list of places to rotate through for lunches? Or picnics down on Mullet Key?
Suggestions?
And, yeah, some form of rendezvous would be nice but I have nothing to suggest at this time. (Of course the best time for a rendezvous is when everyone else in the country has their boat on a lift or on the hard... just to rub it in.)
