Heya all,
Just dropping this one here in case there may be any fellow mariners who might need crew this summer.
We just booked our tickets back to the Midwest (IN) in June from NZ so our daughter can meet the family for the first time (we have been in NZ over 4 years now)
Prior to setting off on our circumnavigation on Cinderella (35-2) we raced her all around the PNW. Mostly local beer can races, but also some longer races like Swiftsure back in 2017.
I have done a bit of racing here in NZ, mostly on an Elliot 10.5 out of Auckland, but I also raced in Russell’s tall ship Regatta. We took line honors on Longfellow (Warwick 66) back in 2019.
I’m a bit curious about Chicago-Mac. Anyone looking for crew? I can run just about any job on a boat, but generally prefer launching/dousing kites and trimming sails.
Side note: any kite surfers in the area? I’ll be itching to get out.
