:0305_alar I have purchased a 1985 38' Ericson named 'Victoria' and was told that it is a 38 standard!?! Is that a 380, 381, 38-200, ..... I was going to add myself to the 'Owners & Projects' list but want to make sure of what I have. Where can I get pictures of floor plans to find out?
Thanks, Bryan

At the top of the page on the far right click on "Specs & Documents" At the top of the page that brings you to click on "Docs Index". From that page pick your way through the 38's and decide what you have.

Have fun

Thanks for the fast answer. Unfortunately I have tried that. It very closley matches the Ericson/38 color brochure but my interior is laid out a little differently. 1) The v-berth insert is in the center of the bunk not ofset to starboard. 2) The starboard side of the main solon shows a dinet area in the brochure but I have just a couch. 3) My galley counter is set up differently and I have a 2 burner propane stove top and a microwave oven. Pictures can be seen at http://yachtworld.com/core/listing/...d=1569382&back=boatDetail.jsp&boat_id=1569382 Thanks, Bryan

My take on this is that you have a later iteration of the Mk 1 version. The 200 series has the head aft with an aft stateroom across... which, design wise, pushed the rest of the dining and sitting area forward.
Both versions were built similtaneously in the mid-late 80's, AFAIK.
