The PO installed a Wolther Instantaneous Hot Water Heater on the wall in
the Head, run on CNG. Is this THING worth resurecting on LPG or just old
technology / fire hazard

Happy Hot Showers....at the Public Restroom :egrin: :egrin:

aka "Hot Wolter"

Your ins. company will probably consider it a CO / CO2 hazard also and may well demand it's removal before insuring you.
Back in the day, several boaters died from this source of fumes.

Risk was said to be very low, but insurance companies dislike risk.

4 dead people, and every one test produced massive amounts of CO

These are hazards of the first order. As one of the test engineers said, it looks like these were meant to produce CO with heat as a byproduct.

The Paloma's work great, but the Wolther is a dangerous piece of gear.

They are not even what I would consider safe for mounting on the exterior wall of a cabin in the woods.

DO NOT USE THIS, we like our list members and would hate to read about you in the papers obits section.
