I am trying to find a zinc for the end of our propellor. We have a collar type of zinc on the shaft but an old zinc on the end of the propellor that needs to be replaced.
I can't find the exact type anywhere... it is the shape of half of an egg (but larger with a diamater at the base of about 3" across) with a round bolt hole through the middle which is where it attaches to the propellor. There are 3 cut out spaces for the bolt holes for the bolts that attach the propellor to the shaft. Any ideas on where I can find one? I have tried West Marine and a few on-line sites.
Is a custom made zinc the only option... and if so, any ideas how to get that done? Thx.
