And so it begins....

A few months ago I bought a boat. She is my first boat. I don't know how to sail yet. I've only been sailing two or three times. This is the ad that made me decide it was time to pursue my dreams.

WHY BUY AN ERICSON 27?

- Fiberglass encapsulated lead keel - no keel bolt issues
- Legendary, bulletproof pre-scrimp construction
- 3’ 11” draft - sail, dock, and anchor almost anywhere
- More spacious than a Catalina 27

This near-original condition 1972 Ericson 27 is for sale by her third owner, and is ready to delight the bay cruiser or singlehander. She is recently surveyed and comes with a full complement of sails as well as an advanced Pelagic autopilot. Most original equipment is on board and working perfectly - this is no project boat.

Carefully maintained and sailed by meticulous engineers throughout its lifetime, this Ericson 27 is a perfect pocket cruiser for the eager San Francisco bay sailor. This example is tiller-steered, providing a more spacious cockpit than E27s with a wheel helm.

Custom cockpit table and copious ground tackle options will make bobbing on the hook a favorite pastime this Spring.

Below are some upgrades and maintenance completed on the boat:

- New bottom paint, Sept 2020
- All sails maintained at Marchal Sailmakers, 2020-2021

- Hands-free pressure water added, June 2021

Other particulars and extras:

- Inboard RC8D Renault diesel engine
- Comes with 99%, 135%, and 155% hank-on jibs
- Battened main w/ spare
- Additional anchor w/ 200’ rode
- Whisker pole
