Just thought I would introduce myself. Also I am new to communicating thru social media.
Bought a Ericson 32-2 and could use all the insight and best recommendations for a successful refit of this classic.
I will try to post every week and warn the community of my progress. It’s going to be slow.
The major issues at hand are first off it’s a gas engine on board with a blower thank god. Secondly, three out of the six bulkheads need to be replaced. The interior molding of the top cabin sole is separate from the top deck and a lot of interior mold separating from the top especially around the port holes!
Want to know about the twisting of the hull while under-stress? Read this somewhere.
Where do I need to thicken the hull so no twisting of the hull will occur?
