My winter project is finally mounted on the boat! You may not be able to see it easily in the photos, but the bottom wooden step has a two step stainless steel folding ladder bolted to it. Here's the pros and cons of this design:

A cold day outside, but at least most of the work was interior.
Today I was able to remove the remaining trim boards in the cabin, as well as the 1/2 wall in the head between the main and forward bulkheads.
I buggered up the trim pieces a little, but I may be able to glue them back together...
