So here is the blog to chronicle the restoration of a 1975 Ericson 29, named Vamos. This is our first sailboat so we are learning along the way. She has good bones, a fresh engine replacement, good sails, a new rudder, and a feathering prop, what else could new sailers want?
Oh and she floats, so that is at least a 10—love you CQ.
When we had her surveyed, she had a leak in a through hull and we pulled her out to get fixed. By the time it was finished in our local yard, it was time to winterize. This is a chronicle of our winter endeavors to get onto the Chesapeake Bay and enjoy this vessel.
