Making Winter Storage Easier…

Having purchased our then new E-32 in Florida, I turned down keeping the cradle given I had no place to store it plus the boat was not seasonally pulled and stored.

When moving to Michigan winter storage became a necessity to deal with. We chose jack stands as a less expensive alternative and stuck with them now for over 30 years. Jack stands are excellent but heavy to handle and a pain in the neck to set up/take down

We also purchased a torch and did our own shrink wrap as a huge cost saver.

This all changed for the better last year when my son found an amazing bargain on a heavy duty trailer he then modified to cradle our boat.

We now can load the boat on the trailer and simply drive it to our storage spot, chalk the wheels and we’re set!

We’ve also had a custom two piece cover made so we can store with the mast up and do away with the time consuming shrink wrap efforts.

Given I’m now getting up there in age, this is definitely proving to be a more than worthwhile investment!
