Anyone know a reliable surveyor near Solomon's Island?

I'm seriously considering buying a 1988 32-200 that I would like to get checked out by a professional, it definitely will need the usual Ericson major maintenance done, spongy foredecking replaced as well as some window gaskets, and pcv through hull, etc.

But outside the known issue the owner seems to have done a good job of fixing and replacing parts with quality equipment (new gennie and furler, new lazy Jack's, major engine servicing and under 400 hours on a universal diesel, etc.)

So if anyone here is available to survey the boat or knows of another professional in the area I would love a recommendation. I'm going to try to get the boat hauled out this week so I can inspect the bottom fiber

Thanks everyone!

I recently had an insurance survey (required for insurance policy renewal) done by Tarn Kelsey who is in Annapolis who was recommended to me by two marine professional and he did a good job. Here is his info: https://kelseymarinesurvey.com/

My insurance survey was cost $675 but I’m not sure if the price would be the same for a pre-purchase survey since it‘s more extensive.

I run a marine service business in the Annapolis area--which has included numerous pre-purchase inspections with written reports that I would be happy to send over for review--and am going to be getting my surveyor's credential shortly (I was primarily a mechanic before). I have also owned two Ericson 38s: one 38-200 and another 381--the former of which I extensively refit, so I know these boats very well. Feel free to PM me to discuss if you are still looking!
