Engine Updates

This season 2011, I replaced the fuel filter and added the sierra fuel water separator
additionally I replaced the water pump with a Oberdorfer 202M7

Michigan is too far for me to go after a boat; though it’s tempting. I just hauled a Pearson 30 from Connecticut for a friend last weekend and don’t need another road trip like that or another boat.

Agree completely. I have a sailing buddy that rents out his own three-axle keel boat trailer several times a year, matter of fact.

2100 miles round trip with free trailer and only replacing brake controler for truck rental cost with $400 to marina was about $1500 to do the trip. shipping and marina would have been $3000, marina would have been $800 without our work. Long hard trip but worth it.
