    Do you get land sick? I've never been sea sick either , but its happened a couple times when i'm out for days, get back to dock and got land sick. Is there any cheap way to get one Gary? All the ones i've seen are thousands of $$, way to much for something that won't be used until well...

    When I loosened the set screws holding the rudder shaft up it with some pushing dropped about an inch. then it stopped I rotates quite freely now, but will not go down or up with an amount of forcing it i'm comfortable with ( I tied my 32# anchor to the rudder to help pull it down, but no drop...

    Does anyone know a sailor whose retired, that if i can cover their travel expenses would be interested in helping push down some of these river miles? Between cold nights on anchor, kennel expenses, etc Travel expenses for someone on the gulf coast should be cover-able for the needed assistance

    I don't have a place in Louisiana to drop ship my mast to, and that sounds prohibitively expensive to have it shipped ahead and the ~7 extra locks with a 55ft pole strapped to side sounds unmanageable I just see turning to pull up to a fuel dock and 1 end or the other swiping the fuel pumps...
