Do you get land sick? I've never been sea sick either , but its happened a couple times when i'm out for days, get back to dock and got land sick.
Is there any cheap way to get one Gary? All the ones i've seen are thousands of $$, way to much for something that won't be used until well...
When I loosened the set screws holding the rudder shaft up it with some pushing dropped about an inch.

I rotates quite freely now, but will not go down or up with an amount of forcing it i'm comfortable with ( I tied my 32# anchor to the rudder to help pull it down, but no drop...
I was coming down the port Allen cancel and hit something not marked on charts
My rudder is bent backwards and can't turn, I'm going to try to drop in water, now tied here at ship yard in Amelia, LA
Current plan to to have the ship yard straighten it back out, if it will just drop out
