Hi, My Ericson 26 sleeps 4. But for day cruising trips where people just sit around, it seems like I can take take more people on board. Does anyone know if there is a limit beyond which the boat will sink or flip over or pose other risks? Robert

The starter rope on my Evinrude 6 motor broke. I can pull out the motor and take it to a shop, but the thing is greasy, smelly, and heavy. I think maybe I can replace it myself and avoid a lot of trouble. Any instruction online? Thanks. Robert

I read several reviews for E26 that says the boat has 10 hp diesel engine and a fuel tank. But my newly acquired old E26 is powered only by an outboard. Do we know if my boat used to have a diesel engine which is removed later on? Or my boat could've been built without an inboard engine?

When I was shopping for a boat I came across one seller who said he recommends "no more than 10 hp outboard engine" for his 25' sailboat. I'm wondering, other than the physical size of an engine might not fit some wells, is there any limitation on how big an outboard I can put on a sailboat?
