Anyone know the logistics for anchoring? I no longer have an Ericson, but would like to attend and anchor out if possible? I heard the area has been overtaken with private mooring balls. We always stayed at Genoa Bay; it has been 25 years since I went in to maple bay. Hoping to meet up.

Hello Saverio, Unless there is an underlying reason...I would NOT recommend pulling the shaft. The cutlass can easily be removed using a propeller puller and a piece of pipe cut in half. I should have taken a video, but here is a video of how to do it. Much easier than cutting it out...
