Looks like there are 15 boats signed up for Port Townsend. I suspect some may have conflicts as things get closer and I also contacted 3 more owners to get reservations in place. If we get anywhere near this number, I would say we are doing well? Maybe not the 25+ we've had in the past, but...
There was what appears to be a 50/50 split between Poulsbo and Pt Townsend. Based on Pt.Townsend being the destination, are any of the following boats and/or owner's planning on attending? Just wondering who has signed up from the boats below?
thanks

Hello just wanted to say hi new to site.
My wife and I have been raising our 3 girls 6,8,10 on S/V Mighty Thunder an Ericson 32-2.
I think its a 32-2 maybe you can help me figure that out there were no numbers on her when we got her, she was a flop house for drunks when we found her.
If...
Although I no longer enter races, I am a stickler for maximizing boat speed on our E30+. She sails well and I can readily tell when sail trim is correct and she is sailing to her potential, or close to that. I have been pleasantly surprised that she can sail faster than her rated technical...

I just got a notice that my insurer, Zurich Insurance Company, is bailing from the business.
Any recommendations from those of you with boats from the 70's?

Seems like a lot of Ericsons on eBay lately. There is a 32 with no reserve as well. it has a funky aluminum superstructure astern for the radar. Still, it could be a bargain.
Before Glyn gave us a Force 10 BBQ a few years ago we'd never been aware of "cargo shifting". Since then we've enjoyed the other side of the bargain as well and think it is a splendid tradition. I still assumed it was a phenomena on just this forum.
Earlier this month I asked another forum...
We had the remnants of tropical storm Noel "blow" through the North East yesterday. Our E38, although wintering in a new marina was tied in to concrete docks with 20+lines, 10 fenders and liberal use of chafing gear. She did just fine. Driving around yesterday we found two sailboats washed up...
E-Scows/awesome boats
In a number of threads I've mentioned that my sailing "experience" involved many years of Inland Scow racing on a friends 28' E-Scow.
It all began in '74 w/ an introductory "race?" on my friends "ALL wood" E-scow.
We started "last", tipped over once(breaking the...
Coast Guard Works To Rescue Boats In Distress
(CBS) LONG BEACH, Calif. A three-masted tall ship with 40 people aboard has managed to re-enter Long Beach Harbor after taking on water about seven nautical miles from the coast.**The Coast Guard says pumps were placed on board the 130-foot American...
Is annual "cut and polish" a good idea to maintain the gelcoat on Ericsons, or is there a risk that one might "cut" through the gelcoat over a few years? How thick is the gelcoat on 1980s boats? Is there a better alternative to maintain the gelcoat, as I don't want to have to paint the boat in...
Stumbled across this, and as I read on, felt it was worth sharing. It is not obvious at first, but this is boat related. Cool stuff if you're a gear head

I have XM in my home and car and love it. I have it on the boat but I really want a better stereo setup. I have it hooked up to the stereo below but I need to go below to change the channel on the XM reciever or to adjust volume or fader. A friend has a stereo on his boat which is mounted below...
Has anyone put a fridge unit in on a 35II? If anyone has, what unit did they use? I am wondering about Ice box square footage and what needs to have insulation added.
Thanks,
Chris
