I'm pretty sure I kniow the answer on this one. But you never know??? My topside gelcoat is very faded and pitted on my 1972 35-2. So assumming paint as my only logical option???? :confused:

Hi all, I wanted to get your take on this. The E27 I just got has lots of gel coat chipping around the portlights. Attached is the best picture I have on this at the moment. The chipping extends for about 2-6 inches out from the perimeter around each portlight, especially the larger ones...

Does anyone have a formula to match the hull gel coat for patching? I thought the hull was white until I patched a small ding> Wrong!!

I'm in the process of stripping 15 yrs of paint of my e-27. the previous owner(s) obviously stripped it down before and did a fine job of over sanding. As I am now sanding I am finding if I go through the white gel coat there apears to be a layer of resin that is green proir to the first layer...
