That's a tough one

It takes a keen eye and lots of experience just to get close. I have done this on my Pearson which was white. There is no standard formula as your gelcoat may have faded more or less than the next guys. I think the original was a light gray.

There are huge color difference when I remove old fixtures. The UV really takes the color out over the years. I think the key to patching is really about what it is now instead of what it was originally. We need an opinion from an expert. I've seen small patches where it looks like voids were fixed and nicely faired, but the color is definitely off a few shades.
