    Hard Pull to Left

My wife and I took our 30+ out for our first spin yesterday and noticed that it pulled hard to the left while under power. I suspect it's the prop, but nothing unusual was found in the underwater survey. Any thoughts? Also - I presume it best to take the main off the boom and store indoors...

    Home Built (?) Hard Dodger

Not a current project, but something I have been sketching on and thinking about for several years. I just did a coastal delivery on a Jason 35 with a nice frp dodger with glass windows. The visibility forward and the general strength was wonderful. Since our our '95 vintage small dodger is...

I have this hardware on my companion way ladder, like I suppose many Ericson owner do, that I will be replacing when I re-finish the wood part of the ladder. It looks to be badly corroded and may need to be replaced. Problem is where do I get the replacement parts? I don't ever remember...

how hard is it to use a lead line?

Has anybody ever used a lead line? I'm wondering what size weight I need on the end. Is it as simple as putting a knot or mark every fathom and just lowering it until it gets slack?

    Hard time hoisting

My 1985 E32 is equipped with the original Kenyon mast with the standard luff track, the sail is fitted with white plastic guides. The problem is it takes an inordinate amount of effort to raise the mainsail. Once it is up it will not drop independently it requires one to pull it down. I've been...

Hard Pull to Port Under Power - New Repower

:esad: HELP: HARD PULL TO PORT UNDER POWER>>> After a year of unreliable service and constant problems from my old Yanmar seawater cooled 2QM20, I finally bit the bullet and instructed my mechanic to swap it out for a brand new Yanmar 3YM20. Rather than a return to reliable operation, I have...
