I just became a member here today. I have just bought a 1974 Ericson 27' sailboat and will be living aboard soon. I live in Southeast Louisiana and it gets hot down here!
I bought a new Webasto 9000 BTU marine reverse cycle A/C unit to put it the boat. The boat is being shipped in two weeks to be put up on the hard and the electrical system upgraded from 110V 15-20 amp to 30 amp service. And a few other things. Id like to have the unit installed at that time.
I dont know where I can put this A/C and I was wondering if anyone here has ever put a unit in an E27. The dimensions are 15" x 15" x 11" tall. I would like to have two ducts come from the unit to go to the salon and the vberth.
This model Ericson does not have a atomic inboard, only an outboard motor.
Also can anyone give me any advice about how much i should expect the installation to cost?
