E-27 exhaust tubing

Hi Guys,
The new muffler platform is fiberglassed in and painted (the old one was rotten and soaked in diesel fuel). The new Vernalift muffler is sitting on it. So now we are just waiting for parts to complete the anti-siphon loop using fiberglass elbows and 2" series 250 hose. We found a polished S.S. stern flange for about the same price as a bronze unit (pretty spiffy!) We hope, like Glyn's engine, that our little YSB-8 breathes easier
We would like to put an anti-siphon loop from the engine to the mixing elbow. Are there any E-27's out there that have put one in? The floor of the cockpit just above the engine, doesn't allow enough height. The lazzerette is too far away.
Special thanks Glyn for your help and photos. The job you did looks great!

Mixing elbow vacuum breaker location.

Cheri & Mike, My Vetus vacuum breaker is located in the space under the bridge deck, aft of the two drawers there and roughly on the center line of the boat. It's totally hidden from view in the cabin unless one or both drawers are removed but I can't remember if the E27 has drawers in that same location. By placing it there the vacuum breaker is about 24 inches above the elbow. Glyn Judson, E31 hull #55, Marina del Rey, CA
