E27 Throttle and shifter handels

My throttle and shifter handles have "disappeared". On a quick look I was unable to find a manufacturer name on the housing, and I don't recall ever seeing them on any supply sites or catalogs. Does anyone know the original manufacture for a 1976 E27 or know where the handels can be found. Are they universal? Or possibly replacing the entire unit would be another option. Any imput would be appreciated.

Defender carries Edson engine control levers. $59./each.

There are also cheaper ones out there if you can find them.
