I am seriously considering buying an Ericson 41 and have a few
questions about these older Ericsons. THis boat lost its original mast early
in its life and was replaced with a single spreader heavy section rig. What
concerns should I have about this change? Was it apositive change, negative, or neutral change? Can I still modify the rig for a
cutter congiuration with runners, as it was offered as an option with the original rig? If
yes, how do I go about doing that?
