First trip to Anacapa

Headed out Saturday for Anacapa. Weather was perfect. Got there in just over 4 hours. Weighed anchor and had lunch... then did some costal sailing / exploring... had a great time! Heading back only took 3 hours, dodging container ships in the shipping lanes, Bit more wind on the return trip, heeled over about 10-15 the whole way, exciting! Got back to Ventura 7:30

Saturday was the day!, Sunday turned to muck.

Looks like Sven was out as well down south. I was on the water for seven hours my self that day sailing up the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Nice pics! That's my old stomping ground. Hope you get to Santa Cruz soon.
