For Sale - Olson 34 #11 in Southern California

O34 - Los Angeles
Per my post two weeks ago, I decided yesterday to accept a new job that will require me to relocate from Los Angeles to NYC. We'll be taking up residence in Manhattan, and while I could truck my Olson 34 to the east coast I don't think I'll get nearly as much use of it as I have here in California.

I would welcome the opportunity to pass this boat on to someone in this group who might love it as much as I have. Given only 38 were made they don't come on the market often. If you are a cash buyer and seriously interested please let me know. Thinking priced to move at ~$32,500 to make it easy for both of us, with no broker involved. Please PM me if interested. I have an October 2019 survey I can share. Serious inquiries only, no tire kickers please.

The interior looks different with much of the stock teak veneer replaced with a white surface. (paint?)
Very light. That was a huge undertaking by someone. Prior owner?

The interior finish was me, a yes quite a bit of work. A prior owner had applied a very sloppy coat of polyurethane to the aft bulkheads. I seemed unlikely that I could restore that finish without damaging the teak veneer, so that created the decision point about what to do with the main salon overall. I ended up painting with a very durable pearl finish enamel, and removed and refinished all the teak trim. Redid all the windows, ports and hatches at the same time. It made the interior of the boat a lot brighter and more airy.

Wow! Beautiful boat! I wish you had it for sale six or twenty four months ago and I had known what a bargain you're offering.

What paint color did you use for the interior? I have contemplated the same sort of treatment and your work commends the idea. Lovely.
