Hmmmm. These folk, including even the narrater, are well into the problem of not knowing what they do not know.
The "Magellan" is likely a major project boat. The Ericson less so, albeit in different ways.
A couple of narrated comments were noteworthy- one was the idea that ALL boats have water in the bilge. Nope!
The more egregious one was about how decks develop core moisture -- being flat (or sloped) does not somehow affect water entering a core.

Not re-bedding the fittings every 25 or 30 years lets water in from all the fitting fastener holes, no matter who initially constructed it. (I did kind of speed thru the last third, so may have missed some better-researched information, admittedly)

Kinda fun to see the two Ericsons together. A 35-2 and a 32-2?
Having friends who've lived aboard in northern climes, I've seen first hand that condensation really is an issue.

At least they've got some top shelf rum to cogitate on.
Hopefully Ryan will check in here at some point if he buys the boat.
