Hatch glass

We ordered ours from https://www.tapplastics.com/ .

Pre-cut and beveled. They would have done the drilling too if we'd wanted it.

Easy to deal with and delivered as promised. No idea how they compare pricewise as our main concern was quality.

Yup, it's around here somewhere....

If it's the lens for the teak-framed hatch on a 35-2, any plastics place that sells tinted acrylic or tinted lexan(r) should have it.

There are existed threads here on replacing those lenses; a search will find them. Use the "advanced search" option and add "Martin King" to the Name function.

We used 1/2" acrylic.

We drilled our own holes but TAP did the cutting and 1/8" bevels. We did not countersink the screws per the advice of Russ Miller at TAP. Countersinking in a sheet that big could potentially set up stress fractures with thermal expansion. The old countersunk milky "glass" that we were replacing didn't show any problems but the darker glass would get hotter and the milky glass could also have hidden small cracks.

They are heavy to ship but at least ours were really well packed so there were no problems.
