How many btu's for an e27 heater

I'm wondering how many btu's I should look for in a cabin heater. I'm thinking of buying one that puts out 4200 btu's which may be a little light, but maybe it's not for the PNW...

im in not looking to turn the boat into a tropical paradise just get her up to 65 on a 30 degree day

I have one of these for winter use (at the dock, working on projects, etc) in our 34 footer. The lowest setting works great when the outside temp is over 55 or 60, and the middle setting does the job when it's in the 40's. It will not make it feel warm like your home when the outside temp is in the low 40's or worse... but it does help a lot. This presumes that I put a towel between the top hatch board and the sliding hatch to cut down heat leakage.

So, anything beyond 3K btu's would seem to be good for a smaller interior volume like a 27 footer.
