As a 20 year sales professional, Eriscon owner and a site participant that was (and still is) willing to cut a check to get us out on our own, this one hits home.
I agree with everyone else’s point of view. This is not the place for this kind of marketing effort.
Sara, If your reading this (a good sales person would be). As a "Solution Provider" I like your willingness to help. As a sales manager I like you ingenuity trying to find new customers.
As a business owner, you are wasting your time. I seriously doubt that any one of us will be purchasing enough plastic wood to make your commission check worth the time spent.
Trust me, the recreational marine market is a good place for your product but you are making silent enemies here and they are the worst kind of enemy for a sales person. Take a look at contacting boat OEMs If your product is good and your goal is to help, not sell, you will be successful.
It just shouldn’t be done here.
