:boohoo: My little Norcold Compressor Unit died on the Weekend :boohoo:
Can not even go in to how this effects the progress of Projects on H-Dock
Checked all the simple things...120V breaker / thermostat....even switched
over to 12V just to check power on that side :nerd:
As anyone has had one of these units quit working....please help us out on
the causes and repairs. Cold beer is right around the corner :D

Happy Refrigeration :egrin: :egrin:

Chaco, what did you do to fix...

Hi Chaco/Dan,

I know this is an old thread, but I am having trouble with our Norcold refrigerator, and am wondering if you were able to repair yours? It seems that the compressor is still running, but the evaporator plate/refrigerator is not getting cold. My guess is that I need to recharge the coolant gas, but I know nothing about these refrigerators, including how to get access to the mechanical parts in our 1984 E30+.
A local RV repairman said he could fix it, if I could bring it in to him. But it seems that to remove the refrigerator from the boat, I would have to take off the whole counter top, which is more than I can or want to do.

Any advice or tips?

Thanks,
Frank
