Well, we closed on our new home today. A 1997 Caliber 40lrc. We will be racing her in an overnight race this Friday and then cruise for about 10 days and then move aboard.

Your new home...

Tim:

Best of luck and wishes for great sailing and gracious living......

It is a beautiful boat, and most would just leave it as is, but I am sure you will turn it into a work of art.....

Again, all the best

I plan to stick around. I like the discussions we have here and I hope to continue to contribute info.

We just got back from a 9 day cruise and we had a great time. The boat sailed beautifully. We placed 3rd on a 100nm overnight race from Portland to Northeast Harbor. Not bad for 13 year old sails!

And the beast part is I now have a freezer to keep ice cream in! The 2 - 130w solar panels keep the freezer at 8° :egrin:
