Outhaul and Vang purchase E 38-200

Magic box

Should work as long as it is not dealing with too much load, but you will have do some Math to make sure the loads match and also that you have enough throw. In other words, if it is tweaking a minimum of 4:1 internally I think you are OK, BUT....you may not have enough throw-you need to be able to have the clew go through about 6" of range (depends on how your sail is made, but this is all I ever adjust-remember a baggy sail is a SMALL sail!) from full eased to max out, and once it is pulling on a purchase, you don't get the full throw of the box.... You would likley need one of the long throw boxes, I think. But if well thought out, it should be an option. One concern is maintenance: They DO need to be kept clean, salt can build up in them if you don't hose them out agressively with some regularity, so install it where you can give it a strong and frequent squirt!

Seeya!
