Source for 12 volt Mac Powerbook adaptors

I think inverters are pretty efficient but the adapter might save a few watts.

It is usually always better to have the correct 12v adapter than to use an inverter.

Thanks for the link. Per their compatibility database, it's interesting to see that all the Toshibas and the older Apple iBooks (like my G4) take the same adapter.
I wonder if a lot of laptop computers have the same port sizing and power requirement?
