Surveyor in Alameda ?

Anyone know a good yacht surveyor in Alameda ? I know there is an old thread on this topic but some of folks recommended are no longer in business. If not for now then after lockdown is over. Thank You !

He seemed sharp to me. Ben had done some long sail around South America with is girlfriend, as I recall. He was unhurried and happy to answer my questions during the process. I have not been involved in many surveys, so my data is limited. Good luck!

Hello, I'm in the process of buying a 1977 Ericson 35 MKII and I need to get it surveyed. Someone suggested that people here might know a surveyer that specializes in Ericson boats. Can anyone here suggest someone like that? Thanks for any thoughts.

I also used Ben in 2019 -- He was great on my 84E35

I just had my Ericson 27 surveyed by Peter Moorehead. He was great. I think Peter is based out of San Francisco

Not sure you found a surveyor yet but I've just scheduled a survey on an e38 with Jeff Keiser. He says he owns the same boat. He's near Sausalito or Mill Valley, I think.

I used Sharpe marine surveys for my purchase last year and found him to be extremely thorough. Was very detailed and knowledgeable. You probably could find cheaper, but i found his rock solid survey allowed a better position for negotiation.
