The weather was wonderful this past weekend. Saturday was warm and clear. The views from the top of the island were amazing. There were only 3 sailboats in Two Harbors when we passed through. It was like a ghost town there. The weather started moving in on sunday, but even at 3:45 during the ride on the Catalina Express coming back from the island, the sea was calm and there was only light drizzle. I even sat on the upper deck for the trip back, even in the light rain.
The run was awesome! There are a couple of canyons that run back into the interior from Little Harbor that are well worth exploring on foot.
Saw an Ericson come in to Avalon harbor on Sunday morning, with a name of "Angel". Anyone know her?
