I was inspired by one of Christian Williams’ posts about his neighbors boat that had the top deck rolled and tipped, as well as adding sand to the existing raised nonskid areas. This project took me about 2 weeks, and I still have a day or two left of touching up some areas where the gray seeped...
Really Productive Day, today.
Removed all of the tape and paper. We were very careful when peeling the "Fine Line" tape off from beside the new non skid paint boundaries.
Photos really do not do it justice. The contrasting non skid is the same color as the new hull color, and looks fabulous...
We had a short visit to the shop today. Significant work has been done.
Multiple coats of color and the top clear coats are on, or mostly on. Tomorrow should start the sanding & buffing.
The paper patterns laid down here and there are where the painter stood while painting -- those are over...
