I am about to get my boat hauled, sooner than expected. As a result, I am behind in figuring an issue out:
--> I have B&G 'Network Data' related set of instruments -- NMEA 0183 -- including windspeed and direction (masthead), depth, and knotmeter. These connect to a single choosable (any one...
I have the following items for sale some came with my E380 and others removed as I upgraded my electronics and VHF to DSC NMEA 2000 etc.
1: Edson Cockpit table $500 - Solid Teak in very good condition (see photos). Will require hardware available from Edson Marine to mount on pedestal or...
Hi,
This is my first post. We acquired an E38-200 this spring. It has original Datamarine Link 5000 depth, wind, speed setup, Garmin 182C, and Furano 1621. The Furano and Garmin work fine. The Datalink is close to dead I think. The depth appears to work when under sail but with the engine...
I've sold the thru-hull and mast head transducers and now have only the three displays and control panel left. Prices have come down substantially in an effort to move the merchandise :egrin:
Below are ala carte prices. If you want all three it's $150 and I'll throw in the control panel.
1...

I'll be hauling out the boat for the Winter and dropping the mast for new wiring and standing rigging. I also plan to replace Datamarine intruments with Simrad IS20 wind and depth/speed. I currently have two through hull transducers in close proximity, one for depth and one for speed. The Simrad...
Hi all
You may have read my earlier post about my E-28 getting hit by lightning. :esad:SHort story is I had Signet instruments on the boat from the PO and I made the decision to stay with SIgnet because I supposedly could re-use some of the wiring from the depth transducer and paddlewheel and...
Does anyone have experience with this unit? My wind direction indicator needs adjustment. On a S/B tack I read 60 degrees off the wind when close hauled and about 10-15 degrees off the wind on a Port tack close hauled. Is there a way to adjust it or am I going to have to send it to DMI Marine...
anyone have any experience with these products?
they seem competitively priced, but of course, that can be good or bad.... i'm looking for wind, speed and depth, if i can find something i can afford. thought someone here might be familiar with them.
EMS - Moor Instruments
Has anyone tried Moor instruments in place of their aging Datamarine instruments? In particular the depth and speed indicators.
My Datamarine instruments are on their last legs and in my search for a viable replacement that won't break the bank, I came across Moor...
Hi All,
I'm going to replace most of the original instruments in the cockpit in the near future. (Old Loran repeater, Knotmeter, Compass and Depth).
I've seen both white plexiglass and wood (teak or other) used as the cover for the old hole and as the mounting point for the new instruments...
I was curious if there would there be any advantage to removing my instruments for the winter months. We get some fairly cold winters up here in Michigan. I was most concerned with the compass. Will the cold weather affect this instrument in anyway?
Thanks,
Brian

A fellow 35-3 owner and member of our site (Bob) at the marina is having problems with his depth finder. As he admits to being computer challenged I said I would help. I did a search here and found dmimarine.com in an older previous thread from 2006. No good, won't come up.
Any ideas? He...
I currently have Navico wind, speed & depth on my 27. none of which work. I want to replace them all with like types of display, 4" square. Are there any other options beside Raymarine ST60, TackTick and Nexus NXS. i was hoping not to spend my "whole" budget on new instruments. Thanks, Mike
I have deciced to upgrade my instruments so I have some Signet marine instruments, that I had factory tested and rebuilt as needed, for sale.
1 SL80 smartpak 1 smartpak wind point-wind direction
They are mounted together in a plastic case to be mounted in
a bracket. 350.00...
I am considering the purchase of one these products, leaning toward the TackTick because of the thousands of units they have sold.
Does anyone on our list have one of these products on their boat or have had experience with it?
Someone on this list stated that they had solar problems...
Hello everyone,
We just closed on a 1984 E 30+ here in San Diego. The boat is generally in very good shape but the integrated Combi instrument panel doesn't work. We get numbers on the depth side but the impeller is gone from the sender for the knot meter and the wind speed/direction function...
I have my mast down on my E27 for several reasons, one being to do something about an old SR Mariner anemometer that has needed replacement cup assemblies on three or four occasions over 15 years. It seems they should be more durable than that. But to honest, when it wasn't working, I really...
On the old E25 I just bought, the two instruments in the attached image are positioned just below the companionway. The previous owner told me that they probably don't work and I found a ratsnest of wiring behind them. Also, the one transducer seems to have a slow leak. (btw, the cables from the...
It seems my Datamarine instruments are beginning to show signs of age and decrepitude. So I'm beginning my research for possible replacements. On my 35-3, the displays are mounted on the port cockpit bulkhead. They are, of course, big and round, and not at all like the spanky square digital...
Have any of you heard of or used NASA sailing instruments?
It appears to be a British line of wind, depth, log, navtex, etc, and a dealer on Ebay is selling display models. Google brings up a variety of vendors in the UK that sell the line new, and from what I can read, they appear to get...
I just repalced my old data marine gauges and if anybody is looking to buy the three gauges and wind vane they are available. E-mail me at
simplicity123@juno.com I live in S.W. Florida and can ship at your expense.
Hello folks. This is my first post. We have a like-new 71' E29 (#129) on Lake Superior, purchased in 1999. A photo from a trip in the Apostle Island Natiional Lakeshore, a favorite haunt, is attached. We love it, and our enthusiasm convinced the inlaws to buy a 1989 E38 on the Chesapeake...
OK- it's time. All my Datamarine Corinthians have bitten the dust (except depth) and it is time to "upgrade". Anyone have any suggestions? Mark Reed suggested the Raymarine St-60 but they are quite pricey and stock is limited on ebay. I just want something simple and reliable that I can...
OK, enough effort has been expended! Any ideas on replacement Instruments for the original COMBI stuff, or maybe repairs, interchanging parts, etc? I took the masthead unit down and the bearings are toast, the depth works most of the time, but the alarm sounds occasionally, (boy, thats...
I'm getting ready to replace the instruments on Sequoia from the 1987 original order form Datamarine stuff to Raymarine ST-60. I wanted to check with all you experts to see if there is anything specific I need to watch for? I'm planning on keeping the transducers in the same holes up under the...
Dear all, I am looking for a KVH Quadro dual line digital display in good condition. Mine is waterlogged and KVH no longer makes or services these units. E-mail or call me...

Hey all,
Been finishing up various projects on the 35 MKII and am in search of replacment instruments in the cockpit. She currently has a set of Telcor round face instruments mounted and while I'd love to get them back up and running I'd need transducers for speed, wind and depth. Anyone with...
Does anyone have the COMBI instrument gauges for a 1984 30+? The wind direction went out on mine but I hope to find a replacement rather than put in new instruments. email to grbgrb@aol.com
Thanks,
:egrin:
I have been reading over the specs (on the Sailnet.com site and on the
manufacturer's URL) on these and they look promising as replacements
for my aging and increasingly less-reliable Datamarine Corinthian round
face instruments.
Have any of you tried 'em, or heard from any sailor who...
