Cabin 12V light lenses

I need to replace the plastic cabin light lenses on my 1971 E-29. Any ideas as where to find OEM or replica parts? Thanks, Ray Hughes.

Start at the Owner's Manual

Check the owners manuals for the original suppliers (in the back of the manual) - and then if they are not located at the address given, do a search in Google for them....

light lenses

rv's use the same light fixtures that are used on boats. there are so many lenses available that you have to take a lense with you so it can be matched.
they usually have piles of lenses laying around. if not they can usually be ordered for you.

Two part solution

I like them a little more quality than the originals or the RV solution.

So, cut out the shape that you want them out of a wood block, get a heat gun, some quality florescent light fixture covers from say Home Depot, and have at it. Works well. I have made a lot of these for a lot of boats.

Oh you are going to melt right through the first couple of tries...The trick is sagging, not melted, then pressed around the mold with another piece of wood.

Takes maybe 10 minutes max per lens.
