Portholes - 1

Our "new" 39-B has a "sliding window" aluminum-framed porthole that opens into the cockpit. The porthole leaks and is overdue for replacement. I'd be interested in replacement suggestions. We do want to have something that opens but suspect that a "sliding window" would never work very well ? The opening is about 15" high and 18" wide and a low profile hatch might be the best solution but other ideas would be most welcome.

Many thanks,

-Sven

Bomon(not Bomar) can make you a new portlight either fixed or opening that will not leak. I had them make custom fixed portlights for me last winter. They do excellent work and are reasonable.

I'll "second" Tim's comments about Bomon. I just replaced the fixed ports in my E34 - Bomon makes an excellent product.
