E380 Teak Enclosure and upgrade to boat Stereo System

Another weekend and another project completed! This time how to condense down a whole starboard locker full with an original Pacific Seacraft factory installed 1996 Kenwood 8 deck CD player and tape cassette player stereo. My nav station is pretty much maxed out with stuff and so not a lot of room left to install a car stereo there, never mind having to reroute all the existing stereo wiring. But after seeing what Rod "RC" Collins did on his Marinehowto website https://marinehowto.com/making-a-cabinet-with-veneer/ this gave me the idea to build a teak enclosure using some scraps of solid teak I had laying around. Then install this stereo enclosure directly below the starboard locker making the wiring connections easy as well as being accessible in the saloon. So the following are the before and after pictures. I went with the overseas sourceed Pioneer CD/USB car radio as it also has shortwave (SW) bands in addition to the normal AM and FM bands, other nice features are a remote control and ability to bluetooth stream music to it.
