    Ericson 30-2 Owners

Need of Saving Here is a nice boat from what I could tell. Her mast is gone (broke in half in the yard). Owner could not move her, State had her towed and towing company is selling. Bet they would take about any offer....:esad: I watcher her on the yard for several years. But have never...

    E32s - Layout

Thanks! All great info and appreciated! Looks like the 32-200, 32-III or the 35-III will be my best bets. I would have to move slips to the 35, butit is doable as well. I like its rating, but they fetch a highr premium. Down side is I need t ostay under 5 on draft, so those are a little...

    E32s - Layout

I am considering moving up in size from my E26-MkIV. Love the boat, so I am sticking with Ericson. I am mostly interested in 32s and 35s, but given I max out at 32 feet for my slip, an E32 is likely the choice. I am confused though by the models/layouts. Some seem to have an aft head, while...

    M12 Problems

Stalled like starved for fuel just off the dock :esad:. Changed the primary filter, ran OK for about 30 min. Next trip started out fine, then starved again. Checked the fancor lift pump and while it seems the fuel gets a little aerated, it fills a pint bottle in short order. Cracked the line...

    A little Video Fun...

Funny It confuses a lot of first time crew on my boat. They are old EasyLoc clutches, top of the line in thier day. They are backwards from other mainstream clutches.

    rudder replacment

Foss I recently bought a rudder, last fall, from Foss for my E26. They were outstanding to deal with and I was pleased with the rudder. They made the OEM rudder for many Ericsons. No worries with them. Take note that if your Foss rudder is on the hard, paint it a lighter color. Heat...

    E-26 New Owner Questions

Gsl e26 I have been talking to the couple who bought the 85 on the trailer. They have painted the bottom and are having the standing rigging checked, and general waxing etc. Looks like they are going to stay on GSL. I have PMd krash98. Glad to help him get going if he would like, and he...

New Owner of The Creamy Pint E26

Welcome! Congrats on your new to you "yacht". You will find some very knowledgable folks on this page. While very differnt than my E26, I think you will find the boat to be a fun size and built like a tank. Enjoy!

    A little Video Fun...

Sailing on Great Salt Lake in my E26, and playing a bit of chase with a friends E23. I had never been around an E23. Very impressive micro yacht... We were running a 135 and were fairly maxed out on sail area. He was able to run his 150 which really push his boat along nicely. My sailing...

    Tethers - Std or Elastic

We find ourselves venturing farther and into tougher weather. I am adding jacklines and gearing up for a bit more safety. Is there a general conscensus on elastic vs the std tether? Any advantage other than keeping tangle at bay with the elastic? Thanks!

    Mast Gate and Batten Cars

Follow-up Follow up on this... I had a jackline on the Elliott Pattison main previously. As the EP had slugs and would slide easily past the gate, there appeared to be no reason to have a jackline on the Mack. It has all worked out regardless. I added a Davis sail stop above the gate, so...

    Mast Gate and Batten Cars

Got my new Mack sails in. I was surprised to find that they use batten cars... nice feature that I had overlooked. However, the batten car can not drop below the mast gate for reefing, esentially it creats a sail stop above the gate. While its still possible to reef, it leaves a bulk of sail...
