Does anyone know where to get the rubber strip that fills the channel on a fixed port? The red arrow points to the channel. Thanks.

    Seeking portlight vinyl interior trim.....

Time to reseal and repair my tired old aluminum portlights. Can't seem to find a supplier for the Inside 9/16" decorative vinyl trim that has become UV brittle and shrinking like my budget! Any ideas, links, product out there? Mid 70's, unkn manufacturer, no factory markings, & 3/16" tempered...

Looking for Faux Teak Hatch Trim

I recall seeing a post(s) in mid to late 2007 regarding replacing the faux teak trim inserted around the inside perimeter of the hatchs but for the life of me I can't seem to get the search function to find them. As I recall someone had, or was getting, a goodly amount of this trim (in...

    WTB teak trim outside corners

Aloha, I want to buy two teak 90 degree outside corners (trim) for my '79 E-35. I think the radius is about 1.5 inches (for the chart table and the sink counter edges). If you have any for sale, or know a supplier please email me at: dcapn@hotmail.com

Advice please on attaching trim piece

Hi, I would appreciate your advice on how best to attach a piece of wood trim. The problem that I'm solving is that the companionway hatch boards sit too low and leave about 3/16" space between the top board and the hatch slider. So I want to place a thin trim piece on the base below the...

    Tender E 32 MK III

This question is a takeoff from the rudder post/question. I didn’t want to change the subject so I started a new thread. Seth, when in 24-26 knots of wind I had the 3rd reef in and my 90% jib about 50% rolled up and was still fighting to keep from rounding up into the wind. Loads of...

Sail trim and weather helm on an E38

Hello All, I went racing with a club member on his C&C 35 and watched carefully how that boat was trimmed, etc. I have also spoken to a few other racers about sail trim, weather helm, etc. Then I have tried to apply this advice to my E38. I have been told that I should be able to trim the...

    E28+ mainsail trim

We installed a new foresail furler and now we seem to have created a trim problem as we have to put in a reef at 10-12kns of wind to prevent excessive weather helm. We don't get the boat over 5knts at the best of times when beating even after a good bottom cleaning and painting. Dave

    Coaming box trim ring...

Does anyone know a good source for coaming box trim rings? Either plastic or teak is fine. My coaming box was in pretty dire shape, so I removed the trim ring (silly me thinking this was an easily attainable part:dunce: ) and started working on the box. It had gotten brittle from the sun and...

An observation on light air trim

Not long ago I was returning to our marina at night with my buddy Mark, his Ranger 23 right at an even match for my E23. Most of the wind had died and we were ghosting along on a broad reach, with barely enough breeze to fill the sails. I'm sure our speed was less than a knot most of that...

    Boat Trim at rest

I own a '76 E23 that seems to sit unevenly at rest. With the boom and main on the mast and the 4 forward sails in their bags in the V berth, no water in the tank or extra gear, it sits bow up at least 4 inches off of the water line. Is this the designed attitude or should I consider moving...

    Polishing window trim

Am I wrong or is the window trim featured in the owners and projects section actually anodized aluminum as they are on my 30+? I thought all Ericsons used a similar alu. window. Graham Cole

    Portlight interior trim rings

I own an E32-3 (1987) #713. Does anyone know if the beige trim rings that fit around the portlights can be replaced. Mine are cracked and falling apart so I am afraid to touch them.
