E34-2 Refit Log #2 – Initial Look & Getting Oriented

Refit Log #2 – Initial Look & Getting Oriented

Still in the early stages of getting familiar with the boat and starting to go through everything.

So far, I’ve mainly been taking a general look at the condition and layout before diving deeper into individual systems.

Overall impressions:

• Boat feels solid and well put together
• Interior is in good, usable condition
• Deck and rigging appear serviceable at first glance
• Planning to go through all systems methodically next

Right now, I’m focusing on getting oriented and building a plan before starting any major work.

For those familiar with the Ericson 34-2:

What would you recommend as the very first things to check or address?

My goal is to establish a solid baseline before moving into upgrades.

I’ll be getting into the systems more in detail next and will share updates as I go.

Appreciate any guidance.
