I am preparing to replace the well worn exterior handrails on my '71 E29. There does not appear to be any fasteners visable in the cabin, are the handrails simply srewed into the deck? Any Help or advice would be appreciated. Dave E29 Spirit Bellingham, WA

My 1971 E-29 has a bulkhead mounted standpipe exhaust system that tends to clog with salt build-up. Can this muffler be replaced with a water-lift system? If so, where should the water-lift muffler be located? Thanks for any ideas. --Ray Hughes.

I have recently bought a 1971 E29 with an Atomic 4, max speed under power is 4 knots. Is anyone able to motor faster than that? What is the correct prop for this boat? Anyone have experience with Maxprop? Any help would be appreciated.

I am replacing my standpipe with a Vetus waterlock. The only place I can install it is thr lowest froward corner of the lazarette, but the problem is that there is ZERO drop from the manifold exhaust out let to the Vetus inlet. Has anyone tried this? Any suggestions?

I have to replace one of my cockpit drain 1 1/4 marelon ball valve atached to a thru-hull. I found a stainless steel ball valve, which seems to be very good. my question is: could I use the stainless steel valve on a brass thru hull or will that cause galvanic corrosion???
