E27 gas tank replacement

I just had my gas tank replaced by a friend - genius of mine ...if anyone cares I could discuss online if you are interested...Beautiful job looks like art. Just want to give back for all the help you have given me....

I would like to see what you had done. I have been living with a 3 gallon can for a few years now.

I'd be interested in how it went. I pulled my steel (rubber lined) 37 yr.old tank and have been running on a portable for a few months with the bulkhead out of the cockpit stowage area .. giving me access to my rebuilt engine. I'm ready to put in the replacement .. a Moeller poly (mostly due to cost and ease of removal). I have a shut-off remote to the engine space with new fuel line, new 5/8" vent and fill hose.

Any pointers appreciated !
