Having a custom guard made is not very expensive. I had one made for my 35-5 a couple of years ago for about $100. They shaped it and then polished it to a mirror finish. So much nicer than anything Edson, YS or Navpod ever made.

I do not have exact figures on my Frigiboat usage. I have a freezer unit with a smart controller set to 8°F with spillover into the fridge side. My battery monitor usually shows +amps during the critical daylight hours.

Just recently installed an Amec Camino 101 AIS transponder. We went cruising for two weeks and it was great to be able to talk to other boats by name and even have a few commercial boats contact us to relay navigation info. Not a substitue for radar or a proper watch but it is a great addition.
